Teaching

Ben has taught master classes and workshops in audition technique, voice and speech, singing for actors, physical theatre, and stage combat at top high schools throughout the northeast including: The Brearley School, The Taft School, and St. George’s School.

Ben has directed productions for the McCarter Theater’s First Stage and Youth Ink programs, Brown Univeristy, and Acting Manitou.

While an actor-in-residence at the Bread Loaf School of English, Ben worked alongside the nation‘s leading English professors teaching teachers new ways of making Shakespeare more accessible and exciting to their students.

Currently, Ben is a teaching artist at the McCarter Theater in Princeton. In 2007, he will begin teaching and directing at NYU’s Stella Adler Studio.
